Valuation of the company DARUMA spol. s r.o.
Basáková, Karin ; Rýdlová, Barbora (advisor) ; Loy, Dalibor (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the valuation of the company Daruma spol. s r.o through determining the threshold values for the seller and buyer in the case that current owners would consider the sale of the company. The valuation date is 31st December 2015. The first part of the diploma thesis is focused on the theoretical information about valuation of small and medium enterprise. The second part is devoted to the valuation as such, the threshold values are calculated and then the potential arbitration value under the terms of the transaction is estimated.
THE EFFECT OF THRESHOLD VALUE ON THE RESIDUAL FATIGUE LIFETIME OF RAILWAY AXLES
Pokorný, Pavel ; Náhlík, Luboš ; Hutař, Pavel
The fatigue failure of railway axles could have unaccepted consequences. Because of safe operation, it is important to determine the residual fatigue lifetime. The railway axle could contain some cracks either from manufacturing process or from previous service operation. Present defectoscopy can reliably detect only relatively long cracks (longer than 2 mm), see [1]. In other words, there is a risk that the existing crack is not detected by defectoscopy. For conservative establishment of the residual fatigue lifetime the crack, which could be not detected by defectoscopy, must be considered. This paper deals with an effect of the threshold value of fatigue crack propagation on the residual fatigue lifetime of railway axles. Two very commonly used materials for railway axles EA1N and EA4T steels are considered. The results of this paper could be used for safer operation of railway axles.
Vliv plasticky indukovaného zavírání trhliny a bi-materiálového rozhraní na prahové hodnoty
Náhlík, Luboš ; Hutař, Pavel
The paper is devoted to fatigue crack propagation in layered materials. The influence of plasticity induced crack closure on threshold values for fatigue crack propagation through interfaces between different materials layers is studied. The main aim was to estimate the influence of the loading ratio R on threshold values for crack propagation through a bi-material interface as a function of the elastic mismatch of both materials. The finite element method (FEM) is used for numerical calculations. Results obtained for different loading ratios, materials, boundary conditions and magnitude of applied loading can be generalized and used for the design of composite bodies with different material layers.
Determination of threshold values of components with protective layers
Náhlík, Luboš ; Bareš, Pavel
The contribution is focused on the influence of existing fatigue cracks in protective layers on fatigue life of structures with protective layers. The problem is solved under conditions of linear elastic fracture mechanics with help of finite element method. Is shown, that in the case of the hard protective layer on the ductile substrate represents existing crack with its tip on the bi-material interface dangerous singular stress concentrator, because of decrease of threshold values of applied loading necessary for crack propagation. Knowledge of crack propagation in protective film is of paramount importance when studying potential failure of the substrate.
